About Pastor

Thank you for visiting our website! I do wish to personally extend to you an invitation to Calvary Bible Baptist Church. Whether you live in the area or just visiting, YOU are welcome! I joined the fellowship of this local church in April of 2005. This particular assembly has been here for 70 years, ministering to the needs of its community.

 I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour at the age of 7. I did not grow up in a local church, however, and did not become active until my teen years. It was at Berean Baptist Church in St. Augustine, FL that we joined as a family and I answered the calling of God to the ministry in 1970.

Afterward, I served in the U.S. Army and was married in 1978 to Phyllis (Reed).

I graduated from Mountaineer Baptist College & Seminary in Salem, WV. in 1997 earning a MTH. Degree.

I pastored two previous churches in PA for over 13 years before moving to Newton Hamilton, where I have been for 20 years. It has been a wonderful, exciting journey to have served God with my life.
